Welcome back to the war between vampires and werewolves...as well as the war between both species and humans that want to abolish anyone who is more than human. We have added a new aspect to the board. It is a special street in Paris, a place for anyone who is more than human to do any special shopping. It's a place where a vampire can get synthetic blood if they so desire...or for any of the species to pick up a potion to help them heal faster than normal...among other things that they might find there.
Also, just a reminder to the members to sign up on the technology section. We want our characters to be able to keep in touch with each other.

An inhumanly beautiful face hovered over him, its angelic face pulled into a sinister smile. The bloody crimson of its glowing irises were lit with passionate intensity. The kind of intensity one only finds in the eyes of a killer. Through the surrounding darkness, only a distant silky voice could be heard, growing louder and louder until it became a shriek. AUBREY……
Aubrey sat bolt upright with a snarl, awaking from the nightmare with a start. Through the thick blanket of shadows that surrounded him, the small hotel room came into view. His whole body was shaking the way he would when he woke up from the horrible night terrors he had as a human. Closing his eyes, Aubrey tried to steady his thoughts. His head was spinning as rapidly as if he were on a high speed marry- go – round. Swinging his feet over the side of the bed, he ran a hand through his silky chocolate locks with a sigh. “It doesn’t make any sense… me having nightmares… I’m the thing people have nightmares about…” Raising an eyebrow, he sat up straight looking confused. “And now I’m talking to myself…? Great, I really am loosing it…” Getting to his feet, he slowly moved to the window to pull aside the blackout curtains to peer out into the shadow covered streets of Paris. It had been three days since he had arrived back in the city and three very long days since he bothered to leave this dingy hotel and had been even longer since his last meal. The lack of nourishment was beginning to take its toll. He felt weak and disoriented; as if with the tinniest movement he put himself at risk of falling flat on his ass. His throat burned with longing and his head swam with a tidal wave of different thoughts.
Pulling a black tee shirt over his bare chest, he quickly took his leave of the stuffy room, moving as quickly as he could to the streets below. It took all his effort to hold himself up right as he stalked the dark street in the less then desirable part of the city. The stench of sweat, booze and cheap perfume burnt his nose as he passed each human, resisting the desire to jump the first one he saw right then and there. He knew he should feed and soon but the thought of putting forward that much physical effort sounded miserable. Veering to the right, he leaned his back against the side of a building and took a cigarette from his pants pocket. Striking a match to light the stick, he leaned his head back to close his eyes in an attempt to shake the chill that clung to his spine.

Night life was prominent all around Scarlet. The thick air, and the distant buzzing of the lights of Paris greeted the red haired vampire as her small boat shifting down the canal pulled into a small port. The smells of Paris seemed to waft her with nostalgia and want as she stepped into the raging city. She was back. After spending a few years in London, Scarlet grew restless again. Missing old ties, and even older friends, it was time to take up what she had started back when she was last here. No more prowling London’s streets at early hours of the dawn just to make small acquaintances that would surly become food. She was sick of playing with them building them up just to rip out their throats. She was bored. And looking for someone a little more interesting and timeless, perpetual you might say.

Aubrey.... Aubreys eyes opened in a snap as that sinisterly silky voice whipped past his ears. He scanned the street but saw nothing. Pushing forward from the wall, he darted into the middle of the street nearly running into a parked car. "Where the hell are you!" He shouted into the night. The voice didn't reply, all he could hear now was the sounds of the street. To the left a few humans scurried away clearly wanting nothing to do with the crazy man in the middle of the street. He wove his shaking fingers into his tousled hair with a frustrated sigh. His remaining strength was lessening by the minute, making his legs feel weak. He flopped back against the inconveniently placed car, earning a shrill shriek as the car alarm went off. "You have got to be kidding me..." Aubrey growled as he turned to face the wailing hunk of metal. With all the strength he could muster, he sent his foot colliding into the drivers door, leaving a large dent in the vehicle as if the small car had been t-boned. Seeing this sent a wave of short lived delight through him. A wave of giddy laughter bubbled out of him as the street around him began to spin.
Abandoning the obnoxious car, he stumbled farther down the street. Through his daze, his uncanny sense of smell still picked up a sickeningly familiar sent in the air.
"Oh Scarlet." He mumbled to himself as he closed his eyes, taking in her intoxicating smell that the breeze dragged across him.

Scarlet weaved in and out of somewhat familiar streets and alleys. Her senses almost taking over her as she yearned to pick up his scent. “Of course you’d pick the city of your addiction to come back to…. But now where are you….” She thought, opening her mind. If Aubrey was at least bit keen (which she knew he was despite his arrogance) he would hear it distinctly.

Her voice carried through the stinking air as loudly as if she had been whispering directly into his ear. Another wave of almost hysteric laughter emitted from his lips as he continued down the street. He could feel her presence growing closer with each step he took and despite his teetering sanity he felt the unyielding desire to find the fiery devil.
The blood lust that scorched his veins was maddening, weakening his sences. He could barely stay focused on one thing at a time, the streets in which he walked blurring around him as if he were floating through a dream. Sucking in a deep, unnecessary breath in an attempt to steady him self. he slowly stalked closer to his read headed target. "Speak of the Devil and she shall appear...." He purred, trying to maintain keeping his balance as he rounded the corner to face her at last.

Scarlet’s eyes stumbled upon a delusional looking Aubrey, his prominent scent immediately shooting perished memories through her vulnerable mind. His flesh looked ashen and eyes looked dull, but none the less he looked flawless, and haunting as ever.
"Aubrey....." She purred. “I always knew you could never part with this city.” She spoke, taking in appearance once again.
He looked hungry and weary, but knowing Aubrey he would never show his impotence.

Aubreys' silver gaze swept over the feline like vampire, looking at her as a panther would his desiered meal. A dangerous smirk danced around the corners of his lips as he tilted his head down as his eyes narrowed keenly. Despite his haze, he managed to remain steady as he stared her down with a look that would instantly dispatch the faint of heart. "Well well, if it isn't Madam Carrion." He purred, acid dripping from each syllable.
"You really should stop stalking me darling, it's not very becoming of you." He taunted, knowing just how to play off of the crimson harlots emotions.
